Maybe their woes wouldn't be so bad were they to be open for business. Friend had a couple of international Cheques to bank at ANZ. Go to the local Balwyn branch..... SHUT due to COVID-19. Drove to ANZ East Doncaster.... SHUT... been shut for months! Googled what local branches were open.... just Box Hill and Doncaster Shoppingtown. Went there and a line of about 30 people waiting as they were only letting in one person at a time. Gave up! What is wrong with this bank they think they can shut their doors to their customers? Is their strategy to get as many staff on Jobkeeper and transfer their wages bill to the Australian taxpayer? Their arrogance is outrageous.
