Gee. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
I'm sure we could organize that lockdown of the vulnerable in no time at all. 3 months or so. I'm sure Covid will wait around while we do that.
Only the 70 year olds ?
What about all the other people that are considered vulnerable ?

How long do we lockdown those people for ? A year ? Two ? Where do we lock them down ? They're not all in aged care. Many live at home in the community.
Do we lockdown all the people that support the vulnerable ? The staff of hospitals, aged care homes etc ? Everyone associated with those businesses from the gardeners and garbos to the maintenance people, the cleaners, the chefs, the admin staff etc .
That's a whole lot of people . What do we do about the families of those people protecting the vulnerable in isolation ?
It sounds really easy from the keyboard.
