Self-evidently the reason there is no evidence of immunity is that there had not been any studies to that end conducted at the time.

The reason the WHO couldn’t sanction “immunity passports” at the time was not because there was no immunity; merely that it was not known if there was immunity because the assessment hadn’t been done.

there’s no evidence that I know of for effective immunity

so, you assume there is none
