I agree, there must be real concerns about their ability to convert these "investments" back into cash.

Quite outrageous. These guys should have put the funds in cash in real banks in various currencies. They instead chased a couple of percentage points in what are now known to be dubious investments and appear to have lost a lot of it. They are not alone, I am sure.

I suspect that they are going to find it very difficult to get themselves across the line given the present state of affairs. There must be plenty of vultures waiting in the wings ready to snap up the technology. Just think of all the parties with prototypes they are testing who have real cashflows to do something with this should it all fall over.
