Can someone please tell me why since masks were made mandatory 2 weeks ago the numbers have risen to new daily records in Victoria?

If they make a difference then why are the numbers climbing?

I’ll continue to wear one whilst I’m threatened with a $200 fine thou.

Disclosure- I live in the number 1 hot spot in Australia, and have been visiting my local doctors every 2 days for last month to treat a bad cut.

Somehow no one has contracted it as I haven’t received a call so far.
