Yes you are correct in that the loyalty options are dilutive when exercised, I think the key issue is that those options are owned by the shareholders, thus the shareholders do not get diluted if they buy their quota.
I have a real issue with capital raising at shareholders expense without shareholder participation being catered for.
Diluting the registry for Institutional trading and capital gain is not acceptable in my book when the stakeholders are not catered for.
Godolphin shareholders mostly understand the philosophy that the company was established with, they subscribe to the philosophy of the most senior director being Ian Buchhorn, they have expectation that things happen in a certain manner that has been established for years now.
Godolphin is a spinout from Ardea Resources, that is where the pattern of behaviour has been established and that is what the largest shareholders expect.
Godolphin will most likely retain a small tight registry to the benefit of loyal long term shareholders.
