Finally started reading this LNY - ANW deal, done some initial research and imo red flags waving all over the place. Looking at both companies they have similar sentiment from their holders, which from what I am reading is also as bad as us imo.

They both have multiple directors again serving in the same multiple boards. SH's have suffered failing SP's - familiar isn't it.. Both companies use same Auditors, basically living over the road from each other in Prime real estate on the Brissy river. SB has been involved with some of ANW directors on a couple of other boards. Would rather a cash deal outright and no ties going into the future.

ANW is cash strapped, doing CR wont save them imo this deal will, strange isn't it.. Just looks like another professional life style company deal to me, certainly ANW hasn't been rewarding their holders over the yrs. Sound similar to the way LNY serves their holders imo. Only difference is this time many of us can exit once drilling and mining starts again.

I have to read a lot more into this, my initial research on the surface of this deal isn't the best deal imo and looks more of a life line for ANW imo. But SB does have a good track record and hope this ends up being ok for us and changes my initial sentiment and opinion. SP isn't jumping to the bang of this deal is it, why is that?? Anyway hurry up mine, drill so I can exit stage left that's a better deal for me imo!!!

Oh had to laugh by some of the LNY posters ramping just how good LYN company is on the ANW thread. LMAO !!!! $1.4Bil etc etc, when will this ever be realised certainly not by mining only 90000 tonnes in 2 yrs by end of this year and minor drilling programs then going back into hibernation for another 9 months till next yr, and still not drilling the bonanza deeper zones, terrible cycle isn't it. What a waste of true potential imo. Anyway find it funny how some complain daily on here for many months then sing what a great deal and company LNY to ANW holders. GLTA..
