Serious question re/ AVL and TMT, page-80

I think we should forget about mergers and single plants and possible this and possible that. The reality is that AVL is a stand alone project with sufficient ore to maintain a viable plant for some years. I want AVL to focus on bringing it’s mine into production as quickly as feasible. Red frog’s post says it all. I think the geopolitical complexities around supplying ChinaV US is very interesting. I am not sure that any serious US player will want AVL tying itself to Chinese investors. Given its strategic importance in the steel, aerospace and military fields I believe US players will try to tie up good sources of supply from reliable political partners. AVL’s board composition says something about this path.

understand where you are coming from but the world changes pretty quickly. I suspect management has had to slow down to accomodate COVID and that’s not an excuse simply the reality of holding cash until the market sorts itself particularly given that Vanadium prices are not at their best. Time to consolidate get the job done well not necessarily quickly. I think bypassing updated PFS etc is a sign of speeding the process up.
