Read Gerry Norman's comments. His sales figures for the last 4 weeks are 8.7% higher than for the corresponding period last year. He says that the package has acted as a stimulus. Perhaps the package did target those who have the highest propensity to consume after all.
Then there are the really clever people like your self who don't need it and don't support it but who can take it never the less and turn their $3000 into $4500 through superanuation co payments. That is for their concious and I won't judge them even though I would have thought that if they really opposed it they would give the money back.
