I doubt very much that the government would just let Qantas perish. Being an island nation, it's imperative we have an Australian carrier. Qantas will come out of this era a bit battered and bruised but like a fledgling, will eventually soar through the skies. I am optimistic a vaccine will be developed within a year. If that doesn't occur, improvements in the treatment of patients to minimise the symptoms will be made. Hopefully, to the extent that the benefits of travel will outweigh the risks to health once more. Then we could all get on with our lives! Looking forward to it! In the meantime, I am buying more QAN shares
