    Heremes, I don't understand. If you are a long-term investor which you appear to be having bought since 2002, how can you say the trend is down? We've had a correction in 2008, which is understandable given the fundamentals (hedge fund deleveraging) but retail physical demand is HUGE and has supported prices in the face of all the selling. Are you saying retail demand will abate in 2009? I'm not a technical expert but rely on this guy, Boris Sobolev, to guide me. Technically, he is becoming bullish again on gold and gold stocks based on the monthly charts. Here is his latest:
