lets not get too unhappy at Xmas Hermes - them gold coins have returned >30% in AUD this year and I reckon half of HC are looking to buy at a premium over spot!
-got me glued to that XAU expanding wedge now - its just that this financial crisis may just be getting going rather than just got gone so being overweight as a security guard (couldnt help the pun!) is the way to go if you have a big pile of the stuff accumulated over the last 5 years. Another 6-12 months will tell a story - will have to be something pretty good to spend my gold on even then I suspect.
