That comment really should be moderated- unsubstantiated rubbish.
No debt to refinance, not in breach of covenants, recent asset sales at close to book, directors buying- I think VPG will be one of the strongest performers on the ASX in 2009, and no, I don't think I'm dreaming.
It's oversold- on low daily volume over the last 1-2 months along with the REIT sector, and we saw strong support off 3.5c today that hopefully heralds better times in 2009.
Sure there's risk here- but tremendous upside for investors willing to hold for the medium term. Perhaps you'll be back buying at 50c once everythings "stabilised".
