Dear brucey all those things were taken into account in my post even though I did not see the need to spell it out. My post referred to the general situation which is all one can do as it's impossible to reference every individual situation as your nitpicking does.
The thread was discussing tax revenues under the coalition and the point being made was that they were highest under the Howard Liberals and most people (not everyone) in one form or another was paying a lot of tax. You may be one of the few who paid less and so see things differently.
