IBX should now make their primary focus the commercialisation of their SPIONs for use as contrast agents in MRIs - we have an installed base of some 36,000 MRIs globally and there is sure to be a much greater adoption now of the low cost MRIs if our SPIONs can generate the clarity required to allow informed decisions to be made based on those images; the University of Sydney has already proven this to be the case, we've seen the images generated with/without our SPIONs

Up until now this has been the missing link and the factor that has been holding back these "budget" machines is that the maximum dosage of gadolinium permitted by the FDA is not sufficient to provide a clear enough image in these low field MRIs - you would need to increase the amount of gadolinium X 10 to make the images useful. We've all now read about how toxic gadolinium is and so to increase this 10 fold is absolutely not a viable option.
