It’s the major analyst and esteemed economists that make up the consensus figures - as you can see much higher than they thought on China today and they have been wrong on all the others last week

no different to same analysts that put in figures for Expected eps - they were way wrong last qtr - but because eps which in many cases were lower than the previous qtr - who cares- it’s a neat and Bang people buying up the same equities for much much more despite a company actually making less

either way - China data shows positive CPI despite many a claim it would be negative
