I'm familiar with the behaviour of stocks that get over hyped on bulletin boards, sold by insiders a couple of days before bad news, and the resulting disappointment when shortcomings of the product which have been known about for several years, suddenly become apparent most of the investors having been happy to ignore those shortcomings.
