The virus is still out there and is likely to remain active for decades, or even centuries. The moment NZ relax quarantine they will have a massive outbreak. So unless NZ plans to be isolated forever the quarantine is futile.Herd immunity doesn't work if individual immunity only lasts 3 months which is the case with Covid-19. If you want to let it rip that's one thing but the "and create herd immunity" at the end of your sentence is fantasy.
Everything the media tells you about Covid is just BS clickbait. The science is totally different.
