Peter Cockcroft (author of book below and Edinburgh University alumnus) recently congratulated Neil on the Nomgon 2 discovery. He is one of 60+ different gas industry executives & CEOs - including from Santos and the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, regional energy investment brokers and analysts, venture capitalists and environmental and legal professionals who are following Neil on LinkedIn and may be ‘involved’ as advisers, investors and collaborators on Elixir’s activities in Mongolia. Even the former Australian ambassador to Mongolia John Langtry expressed his congratulations. Elixir is no longer a traders stock - it is being analysed and accumulated and will grow to be the global energy equivalent of the discovery of oil under the sands of Saudi Arabia in the 1930s and the subsequent domination of the petroleum industry thereafter. Elixirs first ever gas discovery in Mongolia is of regional and global geopolitical significance and that is why these esteemed individuals have acknowledged the achievement. The Nomgon discovery is the first of many in multiple similar sub-basins in the 30,000 sq km PSC.
