Computer automated trades, where the computer program is set up to buy & sell at any point in the day to maximise the buy & sell average being up or down, another word the buyer & seller is the same investor as he is picking up shares on up & down regardless if you want to buy or sell ... he just goes with the flow of the market being up or down...
