Frankly, I don't think the announcement would have made a difference to the sellers here. Downrampers would still have said: "Hmm, interesting..." and you would have still had a stampede for the door. Think it was kind of inevitable.

We are in a Brave New World, really playing with the Big Boys and asking for a seat at the head table. Them's the breaks.

And really, it's a lot to ask the entirely uninitiated FOMO buyers that are wandering around here asking "Does anyone know what the hell happened?!" to hold their nerve where there is money on the line.

Good analogy for today:

It's like asking green troops who have never been under fire to stand on the line and hold their position while bullets whizz over their heads and the enemy (i.e., shorters and downrampers) are charging at tthem, letting loose with all they have. Those young'uns were always gonna break and run, particularly when they saw their comrades fleeing for the rear throwing their equipment behind them.

We LTSHs are battle-hardened veterans of many an MSB SP shakeup/shakedown (with the battlescars and PTSD to prove it...). We HODL.
