I think it is because people have finally looked where the KFC stores are. Of the 280 odd KFC stores in Australia, there are very few stores in Victoria. The Taco Bell stores are killing it, and again there is only 2 in Victoria.

A lot of excess money in the economy thanks to government handouts will mean that inexpensive food like KFC will continue to get a lot of the money which is flowing around in peoples pockets. People will think about whether they will spend their money on an expensive restaurant meal, they won't think twice about buying a $5 meal from KFC. Further adding to this is that your money will go a lot further at KFC, especially for families.

CKF is still one of only a few ASX companies that is increasing their dividends unlike everyone else who has either reduced dividends or cut them out all together. Why hold a bank stock if it isn't going to give a dividend? You are far better off having a growth stock like CKF that pays an increasing year on year dividend.
