But remember, you would expect the ex dividend price of CBA shares on Wednesday will usually fall by the amount of the dividend and franking credit. Not always, but mostly. If the Dow on Tuesday night rockets and US financials shine, you might well find CBA shares higher (but still discounted for the payment out of the dividend)
