Ok, I have bought into the stock so I am sincerely hoping Bubs do well and I plan to buy dips. I am giving my cents worth. I recently had a baby and we are pretty much formula feeding 100%. We don't feed Bubs for 2 reasons. When my wife was in hospital and maternity nurses were giving tutes on how to make formula and feed etc etc there was only 1 product hospital used and that was Nan. When we went home, we were naturally drawn to continue to use Nan but when we went to supermarket, Nan was like second cheapest brand and we kinda associated the price with quality (not sure if true or not) so we started googling reviews of different products but what made us choose 1 particular brand was it was on eye level, selling quickly and mid range price with good reviews on line. Bubs were there but in the corner bottom shelf and goat milk was a completely unfamiliar concept. Few months later when we introduced some snacks etc, I started noticing my wife buys Bubs finger snacks etc. I go to parents group and enquire around and have not met a single mother who uses Bubs. I think Bubs is just not trying very much with right advertisement channel at least for local market. I don't know much about export channel. I think more expecting mums, anxious mums who are about to commence formula purchases and feeds should be hammered with messages to use Bubs. Chemistwarehouse stock these very well and at eye level (well they own Bubs shares) but major supermarkets I think it's still in the less familiar corner or bottom zone in most places I visit. I still think there is a huge room Bubs to make inroads into local market. It's Aussie brands not like nestles and NZ brands. I just don't understand why an Aussie company making a good quality Aussie sourced formula cannot outsell formula made by foreign companies.
