Just for general information, here is how the latest Australian Financial Review article looked today (weekend edition) in the paper version (not digital)...
It is quietly tucked in a corner of the companies section, page 23, not a leading story.
To a designer, the right hand page is dominant placement because most people are right handed and they glance at the lower right hand side of the spread as they turn the page (note that is where they have placed the advertisement).
