Thanks to you I’ve been looking at this company but still don’t understand what they bring to the table that is proprietary & patented.

I think it’s hardware ₊ software.

It appears they supply retro fitting scales kits for shelves along with new shelf bays with scales fitted that track movements on shelf. Is this their only input?

Do all EdgeX Foundry community and ecosystem partners share ownership of all the intellectual property or just their hardware and drivers?

Do all EdgeX Foundry community and ecosystem partners share ownership of Intel’s Open Retail Initiative (ORI)?

I suppose what I’m really asking is what stops someone else cutting their cheese?

Will appreciate any answer you can offer & thanks again for highlighting this company.
