I'm not really interested in what they are paying. Anything that they pay will just be taxed again at a higher rate and value is lost once it is in my hand.
This is generally why I stay away from ASX shares because we tend to pay a lot of dividends rather than retain the cash for growth.
When these dividend companies need cash they generally dilute the share registry and raise it as they don't have enough cash reserves to weather what ever issue they are going though.
Furthermore we don't see many 10 plus baggers on the ASX because of the same reason and hence US companies are the most dominant companies worldwide.
Yes looking forward to the reasons why PMT think dividends are worth paying now and that we have no need for the additional cash. Basically there is nothing that can be done with the money and the best option is to pay it to the SH
