The Dividend addiction of Australians is hindering growth of businesses and the economy.
Not that it is relevant for ZNO but Capital raisings are usually diluting small investors' interest to the benefit of special interests.
Sad but true.
I am not a fan of Warren Buffett (even though he said some words of wisdom) he said that Dividends are the most inefficient way to use capital.
Berkshire Hathaway currently sits on the pile of US$137billion. and the company has no intention to pay it out as dividends. Just waiting patiently when the next opportunity comes along and then pounce.
