The guy that helped invent the Hyperfine low field MRI, Dr. Matthew Rosen, worked closely with the University of Sydney in establishing that IBX's nanoparticles, or SPIONs as they're sometimes called, breathe life into the baby MRIs when when they are used as the contrast agent. The images reveal never before seen clarity, and perhaps even more important than that, the SPIONs are safe - the contrast agent being used right now for MRIs is predominantly gadolinium, which has now been found to be toxic and can have long lasting or even permanent side effects.

The major shortcoming of the baby MRI has been the fact that it pretty much did what the monster MRIs do but the imaging wasn't great - THIS IS THE MISSING LINK!

Once we get formal approval for our SPIONs to be used in this way, the baby MRIs will become a FAR more attractive proposition to potential buyers with the brilliant images generated - do you get the feeling that Dr Rosen wants this approval to go through sooner rather than laterbiggrin.png

The baby MRI will work just fine on its own right now but I liken it to a white Ferrarri.......our SPIONs are the red paint that will make it go fastertongue.png
