I think you are trying to have it both ways. If you are trying to price it’s gender based you need to control variable or compare like with like. You aren’t. You seem to be unable to consider the possibility that sometimes women bear the responsibility - financially, for cleaning and cooking and children. It actually does happen and it’s not too good for them either. When the man is the bread winner at least typically the woman does stuff in the home. When the woman is the breadwinner she still has the bulk of that responsibility. There is data round it over many years and many countries
