    Hi @aes411, It is a great question - whether the data was requested legally or not from Visa EU since ASIC has no jurisdiction with this entity. The only part that I can ascertain that was legal was the request by ASIC of Visa Australia to provide information and the right to pass information to ASX. But I would not think that ASIC would have any powers beyond data which Visa Australia personally had.

    But another question is why would ASIC pass the data to ASX considering that ASIC is considering a competition review under 7.2.16? It would be a reasonable assumption that they should have held off hading any data over until the review was concluded. Clearly what ASIC has done is morally and ethically wrong, but they have broken no laws in doing it.

    And like you, I would like to know why it was manually transferred.
