I agree with a number of your statements. Many people on here are dreaming for a bounce back to the magic of $4.00!
Its a bad look. no matter the board, no matter the strategy, asking people to 'pay for parking' in an era where online shopping is so easy...(free delivery, free returns etc...) SCG needs to have a look at this IMO.
everyone else on the thread, I'm surprised that your not looking at the bigger picture here. If you've had your hours at work cut, decreased income, (insert sad feels here), your not going to be keen on heading out and paying to park, before you pay to shop. leaves a bad taste in the mouth IMO.
P.s. If they do have a parking committee, I do hope they asked for you're help JC
