I was doing some research on AU8 and found that there were about 800k overseas students at colleges in 2019. It was also reported that about 80k students were stranded overseas once the travel restrictions started. If that is accurate then there are a lot of students in Aust now. How come AU8 says lifting the travel restrictions will materially improve trade from daigou and store visits by students? Anybody else done any research on these numbers?
