I'm no tech expert but I took away the same message from the announcement. There are potential clients out there who don't have access to Megaport and with the the Megaport Edge they will have access. Megaport already makes things easy with flexible plans and this offering further builds on that. The only thing I don't know is how much this increases the addressable market by. Maybe it will be double the customers but these are smaller customers since they are not large enough to have their own data centre?
