Schall Law investigation on Mesoblast

First of all, thank you everyone for all your input, hard work, analysis, studies, opinions and banter on this precious forum.

I apologise in advance if this has previously been posted in another thread. While i am still learning about the mechanics of investing on the stock market and acquiring knowledge on building wealth generally, I will have questions that may or may not be relevant.

1. when should companies provide announcements - is there a defined timeframe and cause.
2. How do these investigations affect the SP of a company.
3. The risk associated with share trading is quite high even with in-depth research therefore, what kind of compensation are they seeking.

Note that I have a small number of shares in MSB that I bought in April 2020 for $3.72.
