Hey HamSam,
I think the sell down today is purely based on Tech Analysis. BMN has been overbought for some time now on the daily chart and I think the weekly has also moved into overbought on the Stochastic indicator (will need to double check this though) so a sell off was to be expected sooner or later.
Will have to check the Fibonacci retracement levels to see where we can expect BMN to pull back to before moving upwards again.
Not sure how to post charts on here just yet though...
