The market will tell you prior to the annual result if a dividend is likely or not. My guess is that the SP pushes past $1.70 prior to the 26th August and AX1 will announce a 4c dividend.
The 3AW interview was further confirmation the confidence management has in their online capabilities as there has been no staff cuts with the recent stage 4 lockdowns in VIC, further more from their 25th June announcement, FY2020 EBITDA is now expected to be around 10% above the $108.9m achieved in FY2019, a 10% increase with an estimated $58-$60 million NPAT for the 2020 FY, net gearing remains low and with continued Job Keeper assistance right through to end of Sep as a minimum would support their current payout ratio.
Share Price would shoot past $2 if the above scenario plays out IMO.
