IMO, It needed a breather. It couldn't go on like that for ever, but I think it can (hopefully) start all over again.
The drop in the sp, could also have been orchestrated too, in order to get some some nervous nellies, to get out of the door quickly.
But, who knows, I am only guessing the same as anyone else here.
I am still holding and have not sold one share.
Am I right?? Who knows. Only time will tell.
