Is Regal the Kiss of Death for VMT?, page-8

Shouldn't we draw a line under the Regal 'debate' ? I think we are all agreed that we do not like the practice of shorting, but whilst it's legal it will be part of the game. I also think we are all agreed that VMT should not be very susceptible to shorters, in part because of the healthy growth mode, but particularly because the stock is closely (and potentially very defensively) held. Then let's just not lose sight of the fact that if we assume that the 3 institutions involved in the Placement actually don't have much more than $A 2.5 - 3.0m each in VMT stock, they don't exactly wake up in the morning thinking about screwing VMT ! Neither can they ! Good that someone like 'The Wizard' is keeping an eye on the shorting tables, but having voiced my moderate concerns concerning how and why the cash was raised I am not exactly getting over-heated about this scenario.

We can expect the Half Year Report by month-end, and hopefully a bit more forward guidance for shareholders. Then I expect that afd might update his P&L sheet with a Y/E estimate and that will be interesting to work on. Based on the hard data from the half year and some well-reasoned extrapolations we can spend our time on forward investment strategies that can add further value to our holdings. Anyway that's where I would prefer to see us concentrating our collective energy. Probably see the SP start to roll upwards again too.
