Of course that's right.
While some comment how online will grow as people are comfortable with it, and that's certainly true, they're missing something in that analysis. That doesn't mean people want to stay at home and only shop online.
People want to go out, to socialise, to see new things, and shopping centres provide that. They don't only want to go out to restaurants and clubs and parks, they also enjoy both the cafes and dining in shopping centres, and the shopping experience there with others.
That's even been evident as restrictions were relaxed and shopping centres saw rapid returns of visitors. So just because there's growth in online shopping, it doesn't mean the end of shopping centres as some claim.
