As usual a great post. I do talk with some holders away from here. The content which cannot be posted here due to, the colourful turns of phrase. I have often said words to the effect, that the next move is a maker or breaker IMO, so to my mind it is vitally important. Maybe that is just the view of a very long term holder who has his patience tested at times.

I thought the video was one of the best descriptions of the VOR structure and financials I have seen given. It was not flattering, not damning, but factual to what an outsider would see. I believe there were certain deficiencies, but then again we may see things differently from an impartial observer, as we have invested time, money and energy in this.

I agree that we should not acquire for the sake of run rate or buying growth. There needs to be a strong synergy with the business acquired, your current business, your target market and revenue generation. I also understand that standing still too long changes one from predator to prey. Being very good at something and known as such, is often better than trying to be everything to everyone. Like C10 passed ICare to DWX so to speak, I believe insurance (which closely ties to financial services) is a particular fruitful area. While a lot of ASX players talk government (even though I think we are well placed for continued work in this area), it may be time to feed in another pond with less fish, so by the time some fish feeding in the other pond swim over, there will be no food for them and a big fish waiting.

I promise to stop with the analogies today.

    Cheers
