as a pharmacist myself I believe artemisinin and curcumin and vitamin c all have key pharmacodynamic properties that assist in reversing what COVID19 does to the body; not only are they widely studied and known to be safe at extremely high doses, they have very well known toxicology and side effect profiles, hence (besides it being an early phase IIa trial) I would say the smaller required sample size. Obviously this is not ideal as more people in the trials would clearly have helped convince the naysayers such as yourself that this has potential, but this is only a phase IIa trial.

Surely even you should understand that though small in sample size so far, results from this are very significant.

MSB put on hundreds of millions in market cap based on their stem cell therapy, this is a nutraceutical therapy with a far more established clinical profile and even historical data that these ingredients worked against SARs/MERs, all biotechs are a gamble but this is significantly stacked in favour of success here,

my only concern would be the timeline, if they take too long to finish this then it may not be as relevant when it’s ready (but it still would have huge potential as an active ingredient against other respiratory infections and future pandemics).

The market for supplements such as vitamin c and curcumin is huge too, so whether you believe these compounds are fluff is largely irrelevant IMO, people will buy them regardless. However this is not the case here, significant activity was shown, and we will find out in the future how significant as more people take this.
