So many announcements re various Companies and Deals with no result.
Yes agreed, there have been a few with no result.
While there have been deals gone nowhere, specifically TREK (the subject of your post) there have been some that have matured, one to the tune of $25M
The picture your post paints is misleading. Especially considering JL has stated openly that TREK is not done with!
But I guess it depends which coloured glass your looking through
