Hiya GT,

I use Firefox as the browser and java platform.

It is actually recommended as better by IG, and I find it so.

Just as a head's up, if using the real-time charts feature of IG (runs as seperate java app, launched from tools menu), you can actually run your charts on several computers at once... that is:

Start IGMarkets platform on computer one in browser.
Launch Real time charts
Close IGMarkets platform
Start IGMarkets platform on other computer in browser
Launch Real time charts.

I found this out by accident, and now use it all the time as I have a multi screen multi computer trading setup, and like to watch several markets at once.

Note though, any attempt to save stuff (drawn trend lines etc) will probably result in an error and both instances of real time charts closing down, so if you want to save drawn objects on a chart, only have one instance running.
