The answer is for the Government to provide all Australian's with Prof Borody's treatment. It's available over the counter in chemists, although requires a scrip from a doctor. It has no side effects and has been around for 50 years and it works on some viruses and has been found to lessen the symptoms of Covid-19 in a number of patients treated. It's a no brainer expect for our politicians who definitely are no brainers!!!! Viruses are not bugs, they are bits of protein with the ability to replicate themselves. As you can't eradicate them completely, so the idea is to reduce their capacity to multiply. The easiest way to do this is to deprive them of an essential ingredient that makes the virus protein. This is precisely how the Herpes (cold sore) virus is contained. You never get rid of it but it can be effectively controlled to reduce outbreaks occurring. How is this achieved? In the case of Herpes, it requires Arginine an α-amino acid that is used in the biosynthesis of proteins. If you can suppress the synthesis of Arginine, the Herpes virus can't replicate sufficiently to case a cold sore development. The products available will contain Lysine, Vit C and Zinc. There is a two fold benefit, one it boosts your immunity and secondly the Lysine prevents the synthesis of Arginine required for the virus replication. This is the pathway we should be going down to reduce the symptoms of Covid-19. Prof Borody's treatment needs to be taken prior to or in the early stages of contracting Covid-19. Not some get some hairs on my chest dreamt up hair brained vaccine so far off in the never never, never to see a forearm!!! Oh for some politicians with foresight and a few brains, because the lot we have at the moment are dangerous to all our health concerns and that includes the health of our Nation.
