Just looking at this post and it seems interesting. I would hope some of our Chinese posters could add more.

I understand that it is difficult to get a LP in some major cities in China, but is this incentive new? My impression is that getting a LP for an EV is somewhat easier than for an ICE anyway. Would appreciate insights that would extend knowledge in this area and implication in future EV sales.

What I see from this post is that there is huge EV demand, but how do the policies work to make these people that want to buy one, actually do so?
My interpretation is that 185K in Beijing (families without a car) want an EV, but only 20K will be able to get one.
