whatever you think about share price movements, paying out dividends increases business risk. there is no witchcraft to this logic. I had no idea from previous posts that you were so dumb. my apologies to all the other forum contributors because I would have called you out on it much earlier.
paying out dividends reduces the business reserves. giving it back to shareholders (once off) adds zero future value. in fact it detracts from it.
whereas, using cash reserves to buy something, adds compounding returns. in the long run.
