I doubt it's a coordinated effort, more just a hivemind effect with a lot of unoriginal comments and spamming the same fake news and lame memes from the same garbage conspiracy websites.
There's been a horde of diamond-hard Rightists here since I joined and most of them signed on to the Trump cult as soon as they could. In Australian politics they seem to have bounced between One Nation and other insane-Right micro parties depending on which one was in vogue/existence at the time, with several more traditional Liberal/Scomo worshippers (with the Scomo worship being much less fervent than the previous Abbott worship, thank Christ).
