Hi all,
As posted a few eeks ago on a similiar thread, I truly believe you are better off looking to the TSX for true leverage into gold plays.
Aussie based explorers and near term producers have too high a cash cost per ounce imho.
As per my suggestion a few weeks ago, I researched and invested in CSI on the TSX and they have risen nicely from .55 CAN$ in the last few weeks. Check out their Jan 09 update just released on their website. They have a real possibility of producing 2 million plus ounces at a -ve cash cost.
Most impressive and noticeable in their latest report was the fact that they look to be now (for the first time ever) suggesting that rhodium may be present.
Anyway, I have also invested long term in SVM on the ASX.....and they are currently producing silver at a -ve cash cost and have been for the last 2 years.
My point, the best leveraged goldies and PM explorers and producers have projects that are not based in Australia and do not rely on Australia's huge development and labour costs.
Anyone with E-Trade can purchase shares on the TSX.
Cheers and good luck.
