TYR as a company has become a political plaything, a sort of LNP payments company. May not be bad except for the whiff of scandal around. NEC's 60 Minutes has an expose on them on Sunday night Australian time.
Not the time for TYR to have had its political connections and political leanings announced to the world for everyone to see and hear.
TYR has now become fundamentally politically exposed like Dow Chemical in the U.S., James Hardie, Volkswagen in Germany, Bovis in England, A2M Milk in NZ, it works if the company keeps winning, and the political party remains ruling without scandal and without effective competition, but gets savaged if scandal affects the political party and the regulation of the industry is partisan.
Unlike US, Germany, England, and NZ, Australia has a very loose confederation now. The ALP states might hurt TYR in the new Australian "federation" while it still exists.
